Honda VFR CT vs GS
« on: June 05, 2016, 07:38:52 pm »
Hi Guys

I currently own a 2008 BMW R1200 GS. Although I like riding the odd gravel road, most gravel roads around my area are VERY corrugated which doesn't make it a lot of fun. Most of my friends also prefer riding on tar only.

My question is now. Since my GS is now becoming a little long in the tooth, and I'm looking into buying something else, can anybody give some advice on the Honda CrossTourer? (I can get a good deal). How does it compare to my old GS when riding 80/20 on tar?

The CRF1000L seems to be the new future. No used examples yet but that's a matter of time

Jeeze looks like no one rides the VFR? Also looking to "upgrade" to the Cross Tourer from the Varadero, like the shaft. My brother in law has one and he loves it but don't know about the gravel bit.
