People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. And doing nothing often leads to the very best kind of something.

Pulling stuffing out of chairs, destroying cushions, digging holes, ripping my swim shorts, chewing up my slops, unraveling the carpets and rolls of loo paper.

I had forgotten the bliss of having puppies around.

The old chap is pretty patient with them. He's been diagnosed with growths in the spleen which has now spread to the liver and kidneys so we'll have to see how long he can hold out. At least the pain seems to have dissipated somewhat

Letís try again as Photofockit seems to be cooperating, Fuzzy wanted some pics of the puppies when we walk the "pack" of up to 12 Danes, the problem is getting pics of them all together.  ::)

My two...

Walks at Emmerentia,

No fear this one, it has no idea of scale

My two do obedience training once a week, so their group had a Xmas/end of year function, fancy dress and 3 hours of training/games, all sorts of dogs and no drama, the Reindeer..

To me, the great thing with training and socialization, is that we had about 30 odd dogs of every type, German shepherds, huskies, bulldogs, bull terriers , staffies, Italian greyhounds, beagles, labradors, Golden retrievers and Great Danes, many of whom had never met before, not one fight or incident.  8)

That is weird. Why do you think that is Welsh?

socialization and regular training, all mine in the past 10 years have gone weekly for all there lives, it makes a big dog a pleasure not a liability, having a 90kg Great Dane that isnít socialized and trained is not an option.  :thumleft:

Dogs, for the most part, if left to their own devices, just want to play and be social. It is when humans enter the fray that things get tricky.

Dogs are allowed to run free on the beach where I used to take my crowd. All the free-running dogs were just too happy to see each other, chasing each other into the water. Then you get the dwisses that go there with their dogs on leashes; they were the ones being aggro.
Live and let live.

The leashed dogs want to go free and the fact that master does not agree makes them agitated. They pick up the kak attitude from the owner.

Agreed but where I live they have to be on Leashes and then my Dachsies think they are Rottweilers.

I agree that dogs on leashes don't interact well with dogs off leashes for the reasons stated, as we were a training group all were leashed and still no aggro.  8)

Both, to be honest. "Keep your dog away!" "Control your dog!" To which I just smile and wave.

As Rob said, they pick up the kak attitude from their owners.
