Can't believe it's been 8 months already.  They're the sweetest dogs I ever had!  Properly settled in and act as if they own the place.

Aaaaaw, dis te ougat.  Hulle lewe is virseker nou hemel op aarde.  Julle sal geseŽn word.   :thumleft:

Caramel arrived as a young stray in 2004. She must have belonged to someone, somewhere along the way, because she had been sterilised before deciding to stay with me. Nobody put up any adverts for a lost cat, and I didn't see anything in the area either.

She was a laid back cat who made friends with everyone who visited, happily settling down on a strange lap.

The moment I sat down in my chair, she would hop up and settle down on my lap... only moving when I had to get up to do something.

Her favourite place in winter was in front of the fire... she would wait patiently on the carpet right there until my wife or I got it going, then she would curl up and sleep.

When I spent most of my day behind the computer she would keep me company, sleeping in her box on the desk, right next to me.

Bronchitis and then pneumonia got to her. This morning at 11 o'clock she drew her last breath. Rest well my cat. You were a good friend.  :'(  :'(

Thabo had developed a hematomas on his one ear and had to go to the vet to have it drained.
He came back a unicorn.

With Thabo staying at my in laws till his ear heals up, his buddy Benji is bored and has been reeking havoc around the house over the weekend so this afternoon I took them to a field outside town and rode with the bicycle while they jog along in the hopes of getting rid of some of Benji's built up energy.

We were looking for a bully for a few months and managed to find one between Aliwal North and Bethulie. Quick(ish) Saturday 1800km trip to fetch her, and very pleased with the new addition.
Bella is 4 years old and Maggie is now 4 months old and starting to bond nicely.
