After being inspired by TIM650's project build, I decided to document as well...
This is going to be a bit of a drawn out project as I currently don't have an income, and I feel a little bad about blowing money on something alittle selfish, but I feel the need to document what's happening - it's a great form of relaxation!! :biggrin:
So I started with an idea that I wanted a light bike that I could take touring off-road that was easy to fix and wouldn't blow the bank - budget was set att R50k - not sure how well that will holdup, but I reckon it still going to be cheaper than a modded WR etc....
So I picked up this frame and various bits from Shimwells a year or 2 back, with a future project in mind - only thing is no motor, no tank and the wrong seat - everything else is seriously worn/abused, but the frame appears straight. paid R1500 for it, home it went, and into pieces....
