Still very grateful to be alive  ;D

Swelling has gone down in the leg, seeing the Ortho this morning for the first post op checkup, the wound dressing will probably come off today.

Started easing back into the office yesterday, that also helps  :)

Dankie Kameel   :thumleft:

Ortho removed the bandage yesterday, but the brace must stay in fixed position for the next three weeks. After 3 weeks I have an xray to check if stuff is mending properly and if it is we will start introducing some range of motion in the brace, yay   :3some:

I saw cool videos from the arthroscopy (two cuts in front of the knee) the ortho fixed some torn cartiledge inside the knee. Also on the video is the damaged ACL which is left to heal on its own and then the PCL which was fixed with screws.

The knee looks more like a blob than a knee, from the outside, but the swelling has gone down very nicely.

Schweet.

And what the bike looks like after the crash.

On its way to yamaha, im pretty sure it will be written off because i only insured it for $6000 USD.

What do the wise dogs say, what needs replacing?

You'll need some new stickers, that's for sure! 👍🏼

Soos n DR650   :drif:

+10!  :thumleft:

Basies spandeer Coen se voertuie meer tyd ini garage as opi twee-spoor!
