Wiring on new AT
« on: July 03, 2016, 05:21:36 pm »
Dogs, when it comes to any type of electrical wiring on a vehicle, I,m just plain stoopid.
I am looking for wiring that I can splice into for my barkbuster led riding lights.
Can somebody plse try and explain to me the following:

On the left of the bike, between the tank and the frame, taped to some other wiring, I found 3 transparent rubber shrouds with 2 wires going in on 1 side but nothing coming out the other side.
There is no connectors on the end of the wires. The "shrouds" or cover are open ended.

I have download  the complete wiring diagram but unfortunately, in a foreign language. So, no use to me.

Plse help.

Anyway, so I lenghtened the wiring today and all is fine.
Except now I find that the LED resistor on the bike is interfering with the working of the barkbuster indicator lights!
Now to find out where this resistor is located!

Any advice is more than welcome :) ;)

I located the accesory plug , but before I cut an solder direct to the wiring loom , does anybody know where I can find the male plug similar to the dummy plug thats currently inserted ???   would be a much cleaner job if I can plug and play....
Also fitted a 12v lighter socket in the dash , thinking I prolly need to run these wires directly to the battery ( higher amp drainage??!?!? )
anybody done this before ..... and oh yeah.... anybody got instructions to remove tank (or a workshop manual??)  and all the plastic bits..... seems like a lot of little plugs.... some quite hidden.
