Went to lick, smell, kiss and test ride a 525 today.

Think I am going to take it. Closer to home. All the other bikes are to far

What I saw with my own eyes was the following;

Dune2, and the 450's all needed the full run-up across the small plain in front of dune2 to make it to the top.

Along comes GJ on his 300, stops at the very base of dune2, and just flies to the top. All day long not a single 450 could do this.

I went riding in Robertson (my old home town nogal!) this last weekend.
Agterlkiphoogte om presies te wees.

We choose to go up the "creek" - basically 1-2km of major rocks and boulders only. (net so diskant a opf...k)
I was again amazed by the low rpm torque that the 300 has.
I could climb over rocks without gunning it. All controlled and "safe" for bike and myself...and I am not even average on the "enduro god" scale..


My only regret that I took so long to eventually go for the 300.
