Last week I came across this little guy. I was looking for a cheap project bike and specifically for a 1982 model seeing that it is my birth year.
The bike is licenced, registered and I bought it with a valid RWC, I must just register it in my name. Except for the roadworthy kit (wiring not done very neat) and the paint job (seems like it was painted with a brush) the bike is still original and runs great. It was fitted with a 6volt battery which is connected to the stator and also have 2 brand new tyres.
All parts are there, except for the exhaust shield at the engine and the tool bag behind the seat.
I will keep you posted when I start with the rebuild of this bike. Currently I'm busy with a complete rebuild of my girlfriends 2002 BMW F650GS single spark model. I will create a separate thread for that rebuild as well.
