Is this not, pretty much, an HP2 with a bit of a retro look?

HP 2 Is a Super Enduro with 21" front and "18  inch back. Performance motor (compared to std GS motor at the time) Frame by HPN suspension setup that differs from most other BMW's. Serious off road machine with racing pedigree. Google HP2 at Erzberg if you are still in any doubt.

Thank you.

Although I knew about the more powerful engine, I did not know about the larger wheels, nor the specialised suspension setup.  I will certainly Google, not because I doubt what you said, but because it interests me and it is clear that my understanding of the HP2 (sort of a GS with all the unnecessary bits removed) was a tad off.

When the LC's came out we were told the boxer had to be made liqiud cooled to pass euro emmission laws.
Now they bringing out the old motor? What about those laws?

If i am wrong correct me please.

You are wrong...someone Will post shortly to tell you why
They can mos still make a cheap GS for us armgatte that wants a new bike with an old air cooled motor.
While they at it they can sommer fit a 21" and 18" wheels then I dont have to do it.

They can call it the GS Extra of so iets.

Jip that too but they could not make the old engine any leaner to get it through new stricter laws or that is what I heard.

Looks cool. I don't need validation from trolls, or anyone else, with regards to which bike I like and for what reason.

I don't always drop my bike, but when I do, I prefer to drop her in front of a crowd

Exactly, and I am sure it also surprises you time and again how BMW riders are upset over criticism of their bikes.

Who indeed, should need validation from trolls? >:D
