Thumper Bash Ladismith 2016
« on: August 08, 2016, 06:48:09 pm »
Thanks to all who attended and specially our hardworking hosts (thanks Eugene and Debbie ) who kept us fed and fueled through the weekend. Final numbers was around 35 i believe- thanks for support. We really missed our stalwarts from up north who could not join us but they had important things to do for IEC with elections-next time we will lay a complaint- also other regulars who could not attend due to other commitments. I think all had a good time with their rides there as the Karoo was looking good -  Herewith some random pics

Our inhouse route planner and photographer extra ordinaire have sent me a pic or two but we will wait for the balance to be added- Charlman. Lots of photos on camera even after resizing -still to big but were working on it

With all this happening Andy and kie was giving classes on how to melt a beer bottles in the roaring fire...

A misty sunday morning greeted us  for the return journey after the lovely bacon egg and mushroom breakfast. As our normal route Captain was recovering in Montague with bruised ribs Eikeboom led the mix bag of riders through the beautiful Anysberg reserve after we said our good byes. If you havent done it put it on the list.

The VRYSTAATERS are sorry for having missed this one.
We promise to be there next year to enjoy the good company and great hospitality.
