Anybody with STEERING DAMPER experience please give me some ideas as to what is possible.
Now with the swivel action done on the sidecar, I was thinking of putting on a top brace that can be installed when riding mud or sand so that I cannot fall over.
This will be taken out completely when normal roads are available. so that I can enjoy the ride.
But instead of having a SOLID arm between the sidecar and the bike, why would a steering type damper not work.
I need something that sits in the middle of the travel.
When I lean left it will allow me to tilt the bike up to a certain point.
Same with the right tilt. Allow tilt until a max angle is reached.
Where can I buy, borrow, steal such a steering type damper.
It is not much movement that I need.
I tested it and about 12 degrees tilt is adequate for normal riding.
Thank's waiting to hear from the experts...or the people that are not afraid to experiment.
