I have a thermadyne dc welder.
From what I gather I just need to get a tig torch, a gas regulator and a bottle of argon gas in order to start tig welding.
What are the opinions out there, would this be sufficient to get into tig welding as a start or would it be better to start with something proper?
Anyone done something similar?
Any places you can recommend for getting the tools and gas from?
Helderberg area obviously would be first prize.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
