Kzn Bash. The Dinosaur Way.
« on: August 16, 2016, 07:22:22 pm »
                                                Kzn Bash the Dinosaur Way.

So here I was like checking out where to go riding as my ass was “jukking” to go on a “lekker” ride.
Now last year me and like the whole lot of us ous in my family went to the Kzn Bash, so I “sommer” decided that I need to do this “Jol” again, but this time I was gonna leave the Rug rats at home and “sommer” take a Goose with me.
Now I tune the ous that they must “gooi” my name and the gooses name down and that we will check them there.
Now Tommy transaap and me was like a “Biekie Stukkend” last year for some stupid reason we don’t understand. Must have been some type of bug in the air that year, as a few other ous also like caught it but not so seriously as us two ous.
So anyway I tunes to Tommy that I will be coming up on Thursday and “sommer” will be bringing a Goose with me. No prob tunes old Tommy we can “sommer” kip at his possie and catch up on old times and have some hooligan juice to get in the party mood.
Wednesday comes and I get the kit together for the ride.
Thursday morning (Bright and Early) we has all the kit and “Gooites” on and is ready to take to the road and go have a “lekker” cruise and “jol”.

Check even the goose is ready to go. Her first time on such a far trip on a “Boney”
We does cruise down on some back roads as we don’t want to ride the Highways.

We reach Standerton, hell man the road just before the possie was bad news with Pot Holes, some of them was even Knee deep, but hey I was not “bang” as im a Biker, a Wd, a Dinosaur, a “moerse” Strong ou , and any way I is riding the most famous stead and we is on an adventure thingy thing to get to the Bash. Must say the road to Volksrus was much better, “sommer” no Pot Holes on it. Don’t make sense, but then again what does in this new country of ours.

So any way we stops and haves a “lekker”  bit of “Kos” as we was like a little “honger”

I take a “mooi” photo of me because  I can.
Then it’s off we go again.

We take some more “Mooi” photies, but im not gonna show you ous all of them, just these two. He he
Ok!! and this one whilst I was chatting on my phone to Tommy and having a cold one.

Now we is like 80km from the site in Greytown and is looking forward to a “moerse lekker kuier” with my old mate Tommy so I “Gooies” the Boney in gear and takes to the road.
Huh like 20h45 we is in Ladysmith.

I had to back track 170km. Let’s say we was almost little pieces of “Fis Kos”, The locals was getting a bit restless and checking us out a bit “skeef” . Was a bit of friction in the area in connection with the Ifp winning the ward and the Anc loosing it, so they was like giving each other "Kak" and we was in the middle. Now i know how i "Voor Varders" Felt. The bridge is a single lane in Tugela Valley and I was like scheming to myself how the hell we was gonna get over to the other side as it was like blocked with oncoming traffic (Now im not a “bang”ou, but hey some times it’s just better to “gooi” once tale between his legs and run like “Hell”
Any way I manage to find us a nice cozy bed and breakfast for the night.

The owner Magda went out of her way to accommodate us to a nice room and a hearty breakfast, with a safe “possie” to park once Boney.

What can I say, it was time to get to the Bash so I “Gooied the Boney into gear and made a Bee Line for the Bee Hive in Greytown. He he

Some snow on the mountains along the way and we even took some photies of these two chook chook trains along the way as well for Uncle Ian.

We does finally reach Greytown, but had to phone the Ous as we did not know where the bloody site was. Next time put up some direction signs for us ous.  :ricky: :3some:

Young Bones was like a gentleman and was helping all the Ladies with their “Gooites”

Even Uncle Steve was there.

Uncle Steve and his bike which broke down last year.(OH! Another BMW broke down this year again)(Makes a Ou wonder “Ne”) Bloody Bmwobbel yous.He he

Liezel roughing it up for bed time later.( I will not mention that some people had electric blankets)

So the “Kuiering” proceeded and the Ous still rocked up.
This is called taking a Bike off of a “Bakkie” Look “Ma” many hands mayketh lite work. He he
(These ous was disturbing me whilst I was talking to my Rug Rats, Yeeeesh a ou would think they could get the bike of them self’s, but they was shouting something about  some ou holding the breaks or something like that. Oooops it was me.)

Inpatient Buggers. Look the bloody bike is of now. Ok!!
Some more cool pics.

Everybody was in party mood, especially as for some reason some ou had brought some “Hooligan Juice” with again. Don’t figure.

Meanwhile  whilst we Ous was Partying,Young Mr Bones was entertaining himself with the Gooses”.

I think we will have to keep an eye on him. He he

Mean while me and Mark was discussing this fire thingy thing.

It was a “Moerse” discussion. Ok!!

We actually figured out how to make “Fire”.

You see we us two is “brilliant” Ous.

And it looks like we was talking about other “Gooites” also, just can’t remember what. He he
Meanwhile the other Ous did some good “Kuiering”on their behalf.

Whilst some of us made sure our “Fire” was “Burning”, Ok Ok we was kuiering”also

And we was having a jol and "haaaapping" each other “Kak” Ok!!

And still they came.

Terence

Garry the Barman who made sure I we had lotsa cold ones and other “Gooites” to drink.

Who can forget this Ou? He gave us prizes.

Thingies and bikes on display.

And for the tea drinking okies.

Night time arrives as the sun does go down. The “jol” goes on.

Some ous still come along. We cheer them most heartedly on arrival.

Our fire has become the focal point of many discussions and shared alcoholic beverages. Ok Ok we was talking “Kak” and Doping our Dops and bragging what “lekker” ous we is.

We marked our territory like any good WDog would, although some ous did not do it right.

We even had a Schalk there.

Some “ous” put on warm clothes, lucky I had the most famous T-Shirt there to keep me warm.

Some ous later in the evening.

We had a “lekker” Braai and like decent ous some of us sat and “uit” our “kos” at the table.

Then again some ous was just drinking cold ones whilst their meat was becoming ”gaar”.

Meanwhile with a “lekker vol pens” some of us ous had a few more cold ones.

Tommy was even still standing.

Some ous was even drinking “Rooi” wine. (Huh last time I drank that “gooites” with Archers as a mix I caused “Groot Kak”)

We even “scopped” marks “gat”

Meanwhile some other “Hooligans” was drinking more cold ones and “Gooing” signs at us nice okes.

Oh! Some hooligan was just drinking a cold one.
Then again some ous was just, “Na we will just let the photo say it”

A few pics of what was going on.

The Goose

Tommy in an “erenstige” convo with the DJ.

Huh and then the next thing it was morning. (Bloody Time Warp Thingy Again)

I can’t remember for some stupid reason, but the ous did mention that it was a wee bit “koud”(Bloody old age)

Some of us looked very perky.

The site awakens as some daft idiot was shouting. Wake Up Wake up. (Hang on that was me) he he

Some ous start to get some life in them.

We have movement.

The ous is very hungry this morning.

Dam but I was also “lekker” hungry and the “Kos” was “Doners lekker”

Some ous was so “Honger” that they did not even want to pose for a photo.

Because we is such good looking ous me and Tommy we did pose for a photo.

The ice cream man made his appearance disguised as  Physo Porra.

He did discover what a cool cap i got.

Oubones had to kick the shit out of his Boney to start it, whilst us “Lekker Ous” just pushed a button. He he.

Gees cous I see you doing a good job of fighting anorexia again. Looks like a good jaul. What was the problem with the locals you talked about on your trip down? Could not make out quite what happened.
