My Mom passed yesterday 17 August.
A number of things in my life were on hold, pending what was to happen with her health.
Now all my priorities have changed and as I will be downsizing in the next year or so,
I will be getting rid of some stuff in my garage in an orderly fashion...
I have two 1981 R80 G/S bikes I will sell.
One is complete but still in restoration.
Matching frame and engine numbers.
Engine upgraded for ULP and gearbox done up and ready for assembly.
The frame/s is ready for prep and paint.
The other is perfectly good, complete and ready to take a modern front end transplant.
(the forks on it at the moment are off the restoration bike.)
The motor is not original, but a very good spare motor I sourced from GSer, built up by Tony Lammers.
Both are currently licensed but would not be roadworthy at sale.
I also have some bits to go with these bikes, like a 26lit GS tank, an R65 tank and aftermarket fenders to fit.
I am not in a hurry to sell, but sell I will before I retire in 3 years.

I am NOT selling my 1996 GS "pre-Basic" - that one is for keeps.
I need a bike for the annual Gathering. :ricky:
