I had a ZUMO 550 on my 1200GS. The bike was written off in my accident which had my GPS mount on it and i never saw it again after the insurers collected it. The GPS itself was not on the bike and after that i used it on business trips to JHB or wherever when i hired a car. Needless to say the car mount eventually disappeared into the AVIS lost and found. My Landrover has a built in GPS and i sort of rely on my iPhone for local travel so its not used very often.
I'm going on a trip on my KTM through Lesotho and was thinking i could use it stuck into the window of my tankbag and run it off battery or a local USB port. Ok so no audio or anything but what the hell, that should be good enough. My question is however if I can load T4A maps on that GPS or can the SD card slot be used for maps and not just photos etc.
