Hi All,
I have a problem with a R1200 final drive. The retaining bolt came out while driving and the end result was that the driveshaft splines on the final drive stripped. The splines are not completely stripped but enough that they would have to be repaired/machined again. In order to strip out the drive shaft I require a special pin socket tool, anyone know who might have such a tool? The dealers can import one but they are very expensive. Any advise on what to do or who would be able to assist me would be highly appreciated.
