My 2001 DR650 never had anything on call and after doing 145,000km still hasn't broken down once.

How can I join the break down club ??? :laughing5:

Buy a 1200GS or Harley , you will get there quickly

Unless BMW On Call changed since my days You have Lifetime On Call Except that After Three Years you Pay.First three years no cost to get you to the Closest dealer plus a number of other Benefits.Suggest you ask BMW to advise BMW Clients Fully on the Benefits.IN Writing !!
If you are Insured with BMW Insurance you also have On Call read your policy document as you have a number of Benefits you may not realise that you have.

So Renier took photos of your bike on the bakkie, that is bad. A friend of mine once had to tow my Mercedes with his Kombi and took me for sightseeing all round Pretoria North and nothing I could do about it, an old Kombi towing a nice broken down Mercedes through the streets. Sometimes I wonder about our friends.

Meeste versekering bied ook roadside assistance. EK het al op 'n geleentheid van myne gebruik gemaak.

Toema ek het n nuwe 800 Tiger gekoop omdat ek bang was vir KTM se reliability! :BangHead:
Nou kan ek my gat skop. In die 2 jaar wat ek die bike het was hy seker 4 maande in die shop vir van n complete engin rebuild tot frame transplant en baie ander issues.
