Nice looking tyres, wonder how they will perform off road?

Anybody using them?

I have ordered and received TKC 70 at the back and TKC80 in the front.

From what I have read, TKC70 for the front causes weaving problems according to all other forums abroad.

Seems TKC80 is good for the front as far as traction is concerned, and TKC70 for the back for more kilos.

Still have to get them fitted - will report back then

Recently fitted TKC on rear of 2008 1200. Liking it on tar thus far.
Surely if I was obsessed with motorcycles I’d have more than one; no two; no three; no no, four… ah, never mind…

So I am guessing the ideal combo is TKC80 front and TKC70 back?

I have Karoo 3 front and TKC 70 rear. Was expecting lots of noise but pleasantly quiet, I've found.

I am thinking of TKC 70 rear and Heidi T 60 Front . Also heard bad reports on the TKC 70 front tyre causing major wobbles

I have had the 80 front and 70 back for about 750 Kilos now. They are very very good in my opinion. So much so that I had them transferred to my new bike and left new Anakee 3 at the dealer.

I am going on a trip around the borders of SA in November, and these won't last until then. I ordered new Trail Attack 2 front and rear yesterday, as they will hopefully give me the Kilos needed...The 70 would probably have lasted, but not the 80...

Had a set fitted today. When the mecchie went for a spin, he came back saying the front wheel is buckled. I told him he's talking shit and there was nothing wrong as the Anakees had no wobble. Anyway, he fittted another TKC 70 and went for a spin and came back smiling. Rode home about 15 k's and was very happy.

I'm thinking of fitting a TKC 70 on the rear, anyone got an idea of expected mileage? Will it do 10 000km?

Our experience? It will do more than 10,000km....

We feel it will outlast a Heidenua, and they often get 12,000km + on 1150/1200's.

Probably the highest mileage tyre of the E07/Heidi/TKC 80/Karoo3, look, it's a different design, I would expect 12K++

Impressed. Handling on dry tar is great, off-road better than what I expected. Should be good on wet tar, mud and thick sand might be a challenge ... Overall happy, will suit my riding and looking forward to better kilo's.

Thanks for the feedback. I have TKC80,s on and after 2000km not sure I will make 4000km on the back....so TKC70 seems the way to go as I only ride 20% dirt at this stage. So 80,s overkill for me.
