Honestly though, I get flipped off by bikers all the time.. so what. Do you really care what a biker trying to get past your trailer thinks.. I understand the rant, sadly not every biker waves as they pass you by.

Personally I have found land splitting to be getting harder and harder as the roads become more busy and by the time i'm at my destination.. yes a wide trailer becomes your fucking fault and you deserve a finger wagging as well.

Wouldn't take it personally.

I think he was shaking his head because its just another KTM on a trailer, he had to be a BMW driver

I agree that there is some of the bikers that do lane splitting at great speeds.

Yes is am also one of the guys that do lane splitting and yes I also get annoyed by some drivers that see the biker and close the gap riding on the white line. WHY. Only he will know.

Riding with a trailer on the highway in peak traffic and in the fast lane is also not the best of things to do.
If then there is no other choice make sure that you do ride slightly to either your left in the slow lane and to your right in the fast lane.

You do relies that lane splitting is legal if it is done between the fast and the middle lane.

Lets work together and make it easier for all.

The fast lane was basically standing still anyway.

some bikers should slow down when splitting in heavy traffic, cars rolling under 20kph and rossi coming in the middle (on his "supper" bike) around 80-100kph???:eek7:come on!

I have been commuting for 20 years plus.

About half the bike riders I come across in traffic ride faster than me and are very poor, dangerous and reckless riders. They really all ride like kants.

The other half ride slower than me and are are a danger to themselves, myself and other road users. They actually also ride like kants.

So yes, there are a lot of kants on bikes on our roads.

Come to think of it, I experience the same when I am in the car....

Yes everybody that does not do exactly as I do are huge kants, especially the supper bike riders that wear full kit and lanesplit on the highway at 16.45 and look like they are doing the Dakar

Sadly one of these kamakazi pilots saw his ass this morning on the N1 into CT. I was towing my 690 into town for a service and he came lane splitting past me at one moer of a speed on a DRZ400 motard . 5km's later they were loading him into an ambulance. He looked in a bad way, hope he made it.
