Manual vs DCT : Any regrets?

Or the other way round too ...

I thought long and hard about this option as this bike will only be used for one up adventure rides ... Well that's the plan for now at least seeing as I have yet to see a new AT anywhere as of yet. Twice it was DCT, and then twice it was Manual, first red then Tri Colour ... one lives and learns I suppose.

1978. It's 6am, mid winter...two up on a XL 185S ... off to my first casino ever with all of R40 and we've got a full tank of fuel, so enough to get there we reckon.... that's determination...

No regrets.  I bought the manual and the engine has such lekker torque that I am changing gears much less than the old XRV. A brilliant engine!
