Yes have one on my 610 and 450 and have had them now on a string of my sons extreme enduro bikes. Best is they are virtually indestructible, slide over rocks instead of hanging up like aluminium likes to do, and also do not amplify engine noise like metal bashplates.  :thumleft:

Hyde products work well purely because of the plastic type and thickness, but don’t expect something that fits well, comes with good quality screws or is well-finished.

But they do protect as they should.

The language used fitting their bashplates and swingarm guards lol

Swingarm guards look like shite as well, but nice and thick.

Anyone fitted the 690/701 Hyde bashplate?

I have that one on my 701.  Works just fine and not noisy either.

I fitted the Rade Garage storage solution. Works really well.

One issue with the kit, is that there is a large gap between the bracket and frame, so you need to make up some spacers.

I also added some foam to the cross bar it rests on in the front, and drilled a small hole in the tub to let water drain.

The fasteners I replaced with SS nuts and bolts too.

Can fit quite a bit of stuff in there.

Twin air system seems to be working very well to. No dust getting past. Just make sure to grease up the mating surface of the foam and filter unit.

Just fitted the R/G tank and did the same spacing on the bracket - but used small tap washers that were perfect. I also put draft excluding rubber tape on it and the tank where it contacts the frame in front.  I will suggest this to R/G for future use.

Ended up getting the AXP bashplate - brilliant! Attaches with two bolts, indestructible and has excellent linkage protection.

Nee my fok man.

All you need are axle sliders, crash bobbins and an end can slider.
The OEM hand-guards are shite and will break the first time the bike falls over.
I fitted the OEM skidplate that came off my 690R onto my 701SM, its good enough for a SM.
She is a little lean off the bottom with the LV pipe and open airbox cover fitted and something like a boosterplug will help, although a proper power commander is what I would love to fit.

I agree that a PCV (preferably with Autotune) is first prize to sort fuelling - the on-off throttle can be very irritating.

What do you guys think of this.
Read the description below where they explain what it does, and tell me if it makes sense or not, and worth it or not?

Remember this moto is my Hooligan toy.
It will run on rear wheel all day, and at robots stop only on the front wheel.
I will also see how many pavements I can jump in one day.
This bike is gonna kak  :laughing4:

So Im going to ride this Moto to its limits.

Personally I would fit a regular style damper. I think this is for the racing boys. The Scotts requires the BRP damping unit that is cluttered overkill imho. I have fitted the Ralle Moto RM3 from Oz and very happy.

Talk to the guys on the facebook 701 SM page - they do not always park their cyber egos at the door, mind.

Look at the stuff from Vanache (their tailrack probably the best out there) and a few other guys like Rade Garage, Tekmo etc before buying on e-Bay (not that there is not stuff there) https://www.vanaschemotorsports.com/

Talk to me boet - just recovering from farklitis on my own bike  :imaposer: Tail tidy is actually also unnecessary on these bikes. You just take the lower part of the mudguard off, brake light is a great led unit, and replace the indicators with flush mount LED's that fit right in where OEM were.
