I think that kit is new, so you probably will not be able to find many people here with experience with it - maybe check Chris - zebra as he is selling RADE products.

But why not ask Radek  - owner of the RADA GARAGE - directly (http://www.radegarage.com). Funnily enough right now his shop is closed because he is riding somewhere between Cape Town and Namibia (may be far to Gauteng) testing new parts for 701 (that is if he was able to source 701 here, which he had some problems to get).

I know the guy (rode with him for a day or two here in SA), so let me know if you came short, I can try to check with him.

Hey J

Shouldn't that be ~460km? 701 gives 23-25km/l?

Bike looks great  :thumleft:

Does the rally screen provide any wind protection?

Slightly off topic, but how is the 701 as an everyday bike? I am contemplating selling my 1200gs and getting a 701. Decisions decisions...

Hey w@nted.

The 701 is really an enduro bike with good commuting traits, however is not made for long distance touring. By adding the rally screen and extra tank my idea is to do one or two rally events this year and some adventure trips with minimum tar riding. Even with the rally screen I get chest buffeting which is really tiring over lo g distances. I most probably would not have none better if I did not own a 1190R which is preferable over the long stretches to a 690 or 701. So I guess the 701 is for more technical stuff in fact, great for it, and good for city commuting. Keep the Gs and get a 701.  :lol8:
