tell us more, thanks?

They give all kinds of kak with pressure build up and not venting properly.Best is still long hose venting below a hot exhaust.

Plus hose keeps cap hanging and not falling in dirt when filling up :)

I've got that aluminium bashplate on my 701 now, put it on yesterday.
It's an awesome piece of kit, the storage compartment big enough for plenty tools plus puncture repair kit, and it will protect the engine well.
Cleaning will be easy too as there's space between plate & engine, just hose any mud out - and this means it will also cool well.
Mine came with a small aluminium plate to shield the rear brake cylinder, a nice surprise  :thumleft:

Will post a piccie here later, will be away this weekend.

this batch just sold were R5000 incl VAT each, it really is something special...
In the future, with our volatile exchange rate, they may be more (or less  :imaposer: ), we calculate EACH and every shipment....
the two sold last week were R5K each, and you can EXPECT a similar price, but we WILL calculate each shipment...

I like the side protection this plate offers. BURP, please post more pics of your 701 showing all your mods? It looks like you have spend quite some effort on the bike already kitting it out  :thumleft:

Get that bashplate w@nted, you'll not regret it if you want some neat storage space.
The Oberon & Vanasche will now survive when there's a chain forkup, unlike the flimsy OEM stuff.
Also took all environmental rubbish off, 3 dongles make it 'proof' against future, and possibly very remote, ECU-protests or stall's. In addition I have a more effective radiator now as the large fat carbon canister is gone - and this thing blocks the airflow quite a bit.
Maybe not needed but silicon Samco coolant hoses are virtually indestructible, plus they sit with normal hoseclamps instead of the 'break-loose' OEM rubbish, so now I can take them off AND put them back on.
Am waiting for Rally Raid's response as they supplied me a too-soft rear spring, which will work in combination with an hydraulic preload adjuster - so I can ride solo or with luggage, with correct suspension settings for both.
Toys2Go rack & bars make for less damage when I will (got no illusions here lol) koop a plaas, plus my LED spots sit on the bars and my luggage on the rack.
The Clake Two requires tailormade lines and a hydraulic switch (to replace the mechanical switch on the Magura master), plus I'll relocate the rear brake switch now as it may be in the way of the Rade garage tank.
I'll post some pics when finished which is some time away still.

RADE has just launched a few MORE new products, for the Husqvarna 701 in particular, some of which we will stock, others only upon special request: (for eg: the luggage system and 2-part rack COMBINATION we will ONLY import upon special request...)

the pictures are self-evident, the storage space is a clever use of HALF a tank for those NOT wanting/needing extra fuel, possibly those with Rally/side tanks, since then the space could REALLY be useful!

under-seat STORAGE:

rear LUGGAGE system WITH rack(s):

rear LUGGAGE RACK only (2-part...)

More later

My under seat storage unit is in the post from Rade.

Went for this option because you could always put a fuel bladder in there if you need extra range, and the price is a third of the full kit. Only a little more effort to pour fuel into the main tank.   :thumleft:

Will post some pics here when I have done the install.

thanks, we are SA importers of the RADE Garage -products, so would value seeing your seat storage install pics, and if you CAN show us a pic of a fuel bladder INSIDE the storage unit (we never thought of that!) - that will help, since we in any case manufacture our own fuel bladder
http://flyingbrick.co.za/product/flying-brick-7-liter-foldable-fuel-cell/ and we stock one other brand, and it would be good to see what fits, etc!
