640 A engine repairs
« on: September 24, 2016, 09:53:29 am »
Howzit guys. So at 60 000km my beloved 2007 640 adventure finally decided it needed some attention of the mechanical nature. I'm suspecting a broken ring as it went fine and after a backfire while doing 120 on the highway it lost power and its now blowing lots of oil into the airbox. I would like to do the repair myself but im a bit limited on time to do it. Thus I am looking for someone to do it, said person must have a good track record of working on this model of bike. And not charge dealer prices off course. Does anyone have any suggestions? Im situated in Pretoria. Thanks in advance!
