Anybody used Bike Tyre Warehouse?

I need a new rear for my bike and am thinking of getting the Pirelli Scorpion Trail2 170/60/17

Got a "WD discounted price" incl fitting from JustBikeTyre, where I have always had excellent service, but a friend suggested I get a quote from Bike Tyre Warehouse as well - they were R370 cheaper  , which is quite a lot, I would think.....

Are these okes OK?

Just asked for an 18-inch. R1900.

Thanks, I was quoted R1700 for a 140/80R17 rear by JBT recently. I've mailed Bike Tyre Warehouse for a price, I'll report back as soon as they've responded.

yes, that's weird.... wonder why?
When I mailed him, he mentioned that they don't have stock of the tyre I wanted, but will get it on Monday..... let's see

OK, so I had my rear tyre replaced with a Pirelli Scorpion Trail2 170/60/17 at Bike Tyre Warehouse in Midrand yesterday and what a pleasant experience!

as mentioned, the tyre was not in stock when I originally contacted them, but Bruce de Kock kept in contact with me and let me know as soon as stock arrived - I told him I would be there at 1PM and when I arrived, the tyre was ready and Thulani (ex KTM) fitted and balanced it for me - it took him about 40mins and he was thorough enough to ask me when my next service will be, seeing the rear brake pads needed replacement.

Another interesting point was, that Thulani used static balancing and took his time getting it perfect - pushed the bike to 210 today and stable as can be...

I'll have Bruce and Thulani replace my rear brake pads when in that area again - really great guys, doing quality work at bargain prices

Now that I see the shop, I've been there before - quite a while back.

Anyways, I've e-mailed him twice now for tyres. Got prompt answers but he didn't have stock of what I wanted but offered an alternative.
