Doesn't make sense either.... Manual says it is supposed to be able to switch on and off....Faultless...

Ja, i told him I think he is referring to the OBD light.

But as per the manual it switches one and off with the low beam headlight ?

Manual operation of thelight when the automatic system is switched on

If you press the button forthe daytime running lightthe daytime running light isswitched off and the low-beamheadlight and front side lights.
are switched on (e. g. whenyou ride into a tunnel, and theresponse of the automaticdaytime running light to thechange in ambient brightnessis delayed). The auxiliaryheadlight switches on againwhen the daytime running lightis switched off.If you press the button againthe daytime riding light is re-activated, in other words thedaytime riding light is switchedon again when ambient light isbright enough

Many countries refer to what we call park lights as side lights.

I seem to remember a write up I read which had me believe that the front flickers are on with the headlight.  These are the side lights, but I cannot for the life of me find that again, nor am I sure about what it actually said.

I will, in all probability not be activated in SA.

yis, arent we glad we have such and old...i mean experienced member on here  :deal:

Was at Bavarian this morning booking in my LC for 10k service and salesman confirmed its PARKING lights  :patch:
