Saturday we took a spin in my area.
Two friends joined with a 1190 R and 1290. Both had pillions on.
At some places there were long streches of bad roads. Rutted, sinkplaat and deep potholes.
What amazed we is how the 1290 just soaked that up and stayed with us through all of the ruff patches although we were traveling at a brisk pace.
Back at home we started talking about the suspension on the two bikes.
Both owners said that the 1290 has nicer suspension than the 1190.
