DR accessories.
« on: October 11, 2016, 08:50:53 am »
OK...so yesterday I took delivery of my 2007 DR that I found...3600km and I`m well chuffed.
I`m looking for the following : Bashplate, handguards, wider footpegs and lowering brackets.
Does anyone have any of these they are willing to part with?

cheers
PETE.

Hi Pete,

As per your phone call I will be making one (likely the last) last set of bash plates in November.

Hand guards: Go and have a look what's available. Every one likes something else. My favourites are Polisport Sharp.

I must have a look at the foot pegs i use on my KLR. They are quite nice, stainless and half teh price of the imported stuff. Just have to check if they will fit the DR.

Never bothered with lowered foot peg brackets. I don't ride a lot of sand means I don't stand a lot and I never liked my foot controls dangling about dangerously low. The OEM foot peg and foot control set up enjoys very good protection from my bash plate.

EXCELLENT !!
Thanks Jurgen.
Might be an idea to post something on the W/dog DR thread to get the orders up to justify it.
I have already referred Nismark(on the forum) to you as he was interested in one.
cheers
Pete.

Big Boy wide foot pegs fits perfectly on the DR, also about half the price of the branded stuff.

I can only reply with an offer if you ask for something on the forum.

Can't advertise openly - I am  not a vendor any more :D
