DR seat.

I have a 2007 DR650 and am looking for a seat or at least the frame.
I have a perfectly good one that came with the bike but want to experiment with softening and lowering the portion immediately behind the tank.
I am in George.

Just take your seat to a car trimmer / upholsterer. I would not take any foam off the seat, rather the opposite, it's quite a plank already and removing foam won't make it better.

Fortunately I manufacture foam and have been in the business for some time.
There are a few ideas I have, hence the 2nd seat needed to experiment with.
cheers

The DR's seat is actually super comfortable, once you have been on something like a Husky 610 TE for a full 3 days...
I'm serious...
I have both bikes.

As chopper says, hens teeth. Eventually I removed the cover and foam and used the base. Sure I'll be able to go back to OEM if I want to. And yes, it is a worthwhile exercise.
