Dink ook die burn-out ding hoort by commin super bike rallies....

Nee sies....skaam julle!

Dis 'n biker bymekaarkoms
As julle koek en tee wil drink by 'n bash en onder julle gehekelde kombersies wil sit.......................... :ricky:

Daar is niks fout met so bietjie good clean fun nie.
To each his own................................As 'n ander ou lus is om dit te doen.....so be it.

Let it rest now en hou op kritiseer asb

Jeezzz! What a freaking weekend… It went like most weekends of this calibre goes, lots of photos of the same thing in the beginning… a very long time lapse… a couple of WTF late night photos… and then the next morning…

So the weekend went as follows,

I set off with Dwerg, Bazinga & MikeLawry, had a pitstop for a cold one, then another pitstop for another cold one, arrival at the lodge, then a few more cold ones, we tried to braai but ended up just eating pap-en-sous, Bazinga started the walk-across-the-swimming-pool-on-the-pole-challenge, Dwerg held up the lapa to ensure the safety of his fellow bashers, and later on got stuck in a bush for an hour or so, whilst we cheered him on from the balcony, with a beer in hand, every time he got close to freedom… It was a fairly subdued night…

The next morning, we got kicked out of bed by Sersant Bazinga at 6 o’clock, WHOM DOES NOT ENTERTAIN LATE MORNINGS!!! I woke up with the keys of a Yammie 660 Tenere in my pocket and a vague memory of a conversation with Circlip (Thanks Clippie, best riding day of my life so far!). We had a few breakfast cold ones at their bar and set off for Tonteldoos. The roads were nice and we settled into a groove, obviously the two 690s having to stop for a few double smoke breaks so that we could catch up.

I completely missed our stop-over at Highside Tavern and Dwerg had to chase after me, I personally blame its poor signage, it is not as if it had a massive motorcycle on a pole next to the road… and it was not as if there were massive amount of bikes parked in front of it… I returned. Just as everyone started laughing at my misfortune, I parked the Tenere, it’s side stand sunk into the grass and I struggled to keep the bike upright, just adding to the comedy of moment… OrangeSwifty who spotted my bruised ego suggested I take his 950SE for a spin, to help rebuild my ego, bloody hell! What a machine!!! Thanks Swifty! I discovered they had Sabie Brewing Co beer (one of my favourites) and had a few. We returned to the lodge on a different road, even nicer riding than the way there. What a nice days riding!

That afternoon and night was much of the same, we went swimming, Dwerg and misses Dwerg annoyed us with their excessive “bommies”, Bazinga and his lady in a pink bikini did back summies and a phenomenon call “The Dolphin” which entertained all the men in the pool. MikeLawry did, what can only be described as, rollerblade trick bommies… We went down the kiddies waterslide, both Dwerg and I bruised our hips as the kids laughed at us. Franna impressed with his exuberant splashes at the bottom of the waterslide and Dwerg decided to take a quick nap next to the pool.

That night was… erm… well… a strobe light of memories, dancing, braaing, downing, falling, jacuzzing in a storm, walking into sliding doors, extraordinarily strong women and many many blank spots…

The next morning was tough… but we made it for a post bash summary at Que Sera and went home…

Lastly, thanks to everyone involved in the organisation and success of this weekend, Swifty, Kierie etc and especially Franna who did an excellent job at handing out the braai packs, nobody mentions you… ai!

This bash was legendary!
