This looks like it could be a serious light adv bike. Really like the looks and specs appear dirt worthy which is great.

The 6 speed gearbox sounds awesome. My only concern here would be the reliability of the EFI system but we'll see.

I see mention online of about a €9000 price tag so I guess it will be retailing here in the 100-120k bracket ? A bit above my price class unfortunately but looks like a lekker bik

Mods! Why did you move the thread here? It must be at "General"

what engine does it use? Is it reliable?

I like this bike, only 165kg wet, the suspension also looks good..

It's the old Husqvarna TE630 engine

Why was this thread moved here? I understand that bikes that are already released have their separate section, but for the bikes that weren't?

To me that is a key difference (regardless of the brand) - before the bike is released, anybody should be able to get information on the bike as otherwise they may not even register the bike exists. Therefore it belongs to General IMO (otherwise what it is about - sillly stunt videos?). Once the bike is released and known entity, then I believe it belongs to its specific section.

Exactly the same approach was used for new AT (which was even locked at the top of the page in General) before it was released - and it was correctly IMO moved to the brand specific thread once available on the market.

MY 2c, but I believe will contribute to transparency and efficient information sharing here, and avoid confusion. I will bet that sooner or later somebody is going to open another AJP thread in General, not knowing that somewhere in the bowels of WD there is already one. Ta

At 165kg it is heavier than a KTM 690, although the PR7 is a good looking bike

There are a few bikes being brought in privately,  should be here shortly. I was going to get one but got sorted with a 701 and very happy with it.

Why concern with the EFI? The TE610 and TE630 had EFI for years.

I know little about how reliable efi on bikes are these days. Also, I understand carburetors and how to maintain them. When I'm in the middle of nowhere I like the idea of riding a bike I can fix next to the road.

The modern EFI is really reliable. Otherwise stick with a KLR.  :o
