Oil Light???

So for the last few weeks Ive noticed my bike's oil light coming on shortly after starting to ride. It will go on for about 10 seconds and then off again. Sometimes it will come back on about 4 or 5 times and go off again. And then after that it stays off for the rest of the day.

At first i thought it might be because the bike is still cold. So i started idling the bike a few minutes each time before i ride. It seemed to help a bit, but the light still comes on some days. It only happens after the bike stood for the night or longer. Never later in the day after riding in the morning.

I have checked the oil level and the bike had a major service 5 months ago.

Can it be that i'm just riding the bike to hard while its still cold. ??? (Not that i ride really hard. And why now. Ive had the bike for a year now.)

It only started about 3 weeks ago.

I don't live close to a garage or Yamaha. I need advice. Should i just keep a eye on it or should i try and get the bike to a Yamaha to have a look?
