I've see a few of them here in Holland, but have not been able to stop one yet. The red and white one seems to be the firm favourite.

I'm really liking the sound of this. It is going to be way above my budget, I don't finance toys, but this looks like an awesome no frills no gadgets adventure bike and I agree with the reviewer here, Yamaha is going to sell a ton of these.
- you reckon that thing will pop a wheelie? We're about to find out, SLAP that pig!

And so the 2021 model is being released and we still need to see any model being available in ZA. But I still like this bike.

The bike is wonderful, our country not so much at the moment.

Even Fedex is struggling to get a parcel to me. :xxbah: :xxbah: :xxbah: :xxbah:

To all, note please, Historic Posts above!

Poor Dan must have lost it during LockUp.... for he clearly has turned PC !
"Not so much.." - surely that's the understatement of the century!

There may be a somewhat logical explanation for this though, which would be even more surprising: Dan, that missing Fedex parcel perhaps contains that loooooong awaited BM Scale Model from Chris?

i rode my mates T7 the other day, only on tar though, not much dirt in these parts.

I loved it, if i was in the market for a dual sport at the minute, this owuld be it. not huge power just efficient and knowing yamaha and the history of the 07 motor it will last forever.

Lewis and Booth are both respected off road guys and wont blow smoke up your arse, if they say itís a good bike you better believe it. Iím not a Yammie fanboy, team Red will always be close to
my heart but I have to hand it to Yamaha they built a God sent bike for most DS riders. Baby Boomers and Gen Xís will happily ride this T7 into biking retirement. Thanks Yamaha for building a no frills motorbike like we all remember, last of a generation. I just hope that one day I can have a piece of the pie !

:thumleft: It is actually what the 990 should have been, a little lighter, with a bit more usable power, and much more economical.
