Actually I lie. The 701LR would be first pick, this second
First dirty fuel and you are stuck on the side of the road  ;)

To be fair that will be true on any fuel injected bike, T7 included. But add a decent filter and you should be fine.

The Yamaha will come fitted with decent filter, this is the point being made.

That is damn impressive  :eek7:

Sure it is mostly the rider, but the fact that the bike can do that says a lot
- you reckon that thing will pop a wheelie? We're about to find out, SLAP that pig!

Yeh.  I mean I'd like to see if the suspension survived that but still damn impressive.

Looking at the way he went scooting off afterwards I'm sure that the rider must have emptied his adrenocortical gland just as completely as he tested the suspension! Yamaha, for the ride of your life!

Hour's worth of T7 goodness, 5 guys going through their mods. It seems what is highly rated and recommended :

Yamaha aftermarket larger skid plate
Yamaha crash bars
Yamaha or SW Motech center stand
Barkbusters
Nylon screw mod on the front fork protectors
Yamaha OEM headlight cover
R&G engine side covers (Looks a lot like Hyde type of plastic)
Heavier springs if you are over 85kg and ride aggressively

If you want to buy and ride a new T7, you would be better off immigrating to Australia or the US.  By the time the bike arrive in SA we will be to old to ride adventure bikes
