Whatever you drink is clouding your judgement, buying a KLX250 when you can have a WR250R  :o

In retrospect I think you are right Sidetrack. My wife was just a bit intimidated by the seat height on the WR250R and I was just a bit intimidated at the thought of coughing up the money. The DRZ400 is quite a bit cheaper. Until I came here I hadn't actually seen a WR250R in the flesh. I have to say the dealers damned it with faint praise.

Luckily, Yamaha says that when it does get here we only have to pay the price of a 3 year old model.

Flip man! they are going to be discontinued by the time the get here!

Agreed we have seen how a T7 can do step ups, rock jumping and other trickery. Just as nimble as a 450 / trials bike  >:D

Had a look at the Tiger 900 now at Triumph.   Very good looking and sounds more like an ADV bike now, compared to the 800 which sounds oike a blender   I like it.

Another bike that beat the T7 to actually existing.

Where do you think riders have been finding T7's over the last year to ride and test? The internets is filled with T7 reviews, without a exception positive.

Biggest mistake Yamaha made was just to build the T7 out of the MBK factory in Europe, if they made it in Japan as well lead times would have been much shorter to most countries I reckon.

As one anxious deposit paying would be T7 owner wrote in 2019

"I was told they had only 1200 bikes for the whole of Europe and they have thousands of orders", this was a year ago.
