You haven't got the T7 yet and you certainly won't have seen one of these, a Portuguese AGP PR7. with a nod to the G450X with the tank in the frame, a well known motor and ridden by a very proud owner Adam Robins who makes me think of the short Frenchman who rode the Dakar Tenere (Stephane Peterhansel?)  when he's on the bike. One thing about buying a bespoke motorcycle like this is every time they have to uprate a piece of the bike in production they send you a spare part in the post. So far he's had fork stanchions, a new rear axle and a billet monoshock mount.  He even had a cold bag in the panniers to keep his lunch cold.
Er there were some PR7ís here in SA but doubt anyone bought one. Anyway back to the T7  :deal:

A couple of these made it to SA, think 2 x WD's bought. This bike has recently had a major upgrade again but priced the same or close to the KTM 690 I would have gone orange if my needs were this type of bike and my wallet allowed.

The way I'm riding even the T7 is a bit of an overkill, and im still leaning towards African twin (keep in mind im dreaming, cant buy) but since I've spent a little time on the MT07 late 2013 already I know I love the T7 engine and think the bike will be perfect for my needs as mostly a road biker that often like to take a detour on the gravel en then thr impulsive ne will get me into trouble since I'll get on some goat trail. The Tiger 800 was awesome years back and I have enjoyed her tremendously.  This can only be better since I'm familiar with the engine character.

Rally edition

Will probably be same price as a fully kitted R1250GS

Sort of like a Ferrari cost the same as a fully-kitted truck.

What you mean?

Even if they end up costing the same, it is two such different machines!

Op die lang duur ja. :imaposer: :imaposer:

Maar daai Italianer verloor een van die T7 se sterk punte, min wydte waar dit saak maak. Maar hulle ry seker baie woestyn in Marokko, dan maak dit nie saak nie.

If you are then a heavy rider, and you like riding hard, what would you do to the stock suspension and how much will you be spending?
If you do stiffen it up, does the t7 lose the ability to put the power down so well?
not expecting owner feedback, but some here must have done some research on this?
