So I just saw a Unicorn at World of Yamaha in Jhb. Slimmer with a lower seat than the 660Z. Very nice styling, motor sits high in the frame. Looks even better in the flesh than on the pictures. I can see why Yamaha is doing so well with this model. When my ship comes in !

I asked the KTM and BM riders to please back off and stop drooling so I can take these two pics for you guys

Was at the local Yamaha dealer today. They are just as frustrated...

Apparently 10 bikes arriving in October which will all be demos. Donít know whether to believe it because he also said the suspension should be better than 790R

He knows that KTM bikes have fully adjustable suspensions. He also knows that KTM riders don't know that they are meant to make the adjustments themselves.

:imaposer:

Having seen the bike today I'm convinced there is no other DS on the market today in it's price class that offers what the T7 does. It's slim, comes with the DNA to do proper off roading and was kept simple so that any owner could easily maintain the bike itself. To me the AT for example is much bigger and more complex. The Vstroms and the like are more road based. The Yammie is unique. The 790 is most likely it's closest competitor but again not exactly a fair comparison.Yes now we await local pricing  ::)
