Its 9200 here for the standard and 10 500 for the dakar version...thats about 190k for the standard version but bikes are slightly cheaper there than here when new.

190 puts it in ktm 790 territory.

Still a bargain at 190 i spose....

UK pricing is based on supply from the French factory. Also, those pricing points were established pre Covid-19, which has played havoc on the ZAR! S.A. bikes are coming from Japan - beeg difference in shipping costs - which are ALL Dollar based! lots of different complexities to consider when making direct comparisons with different markets.

Black is also my preferred colour on both the T700 and Africa Twin

It is basic economics - why sell a bike without all the bells and whistles for less than bikes with bells and whistles.

Have less stuff on it is more desirable so it will cost more.

I am trying not to be rude so let's just say at 200 you have to be VERY brand loyal to buy one

Let's not forget that last year you could still get a Tracer at 127k
