Apparently stocks arriving in October.
Price around R190k....  :eek7:
Bit of a stretch for my finances!
Ridiculous, they really stuffed up on the price.
Competing against a 790 at that price they will be losing a lot of sales....

Hulle kan hom maar vir R160k ook verkoop. Hy kort ook maar baie ekstras voor hy kan toer so hulle kan hul geld daar terug kry.

Vir R190k is hy baie na aan selfde prys as die 790S met wie hy elkgeval beter vergelyk. So as jy regtig nogsteeds meer wil betaal sodat hulle elektriese goed uit haal is dit dan nie so sleg nie.
Ek persoonik verkies om meer te kry as ek meer betaal, maar gelukkig verskil ons maar


Gaan n F850GS nie ook vir R168k vir die base nie? Dan kry jy steeds meer vir jou geld, maar meer gewig ook. Dalk sien Yamaha nog die lig en val die prys
Dooie visse gaan saam met die stroom...

Just read an interesting take on the T7 vs 790 saga.

Theory holds that Yamaha made much about the coming T7 while still sorting it properly, to force KTM to unleash a 790 not quite sorted.

Now, the real facts about both bikes seem to hold up that story, as the 790's are having numerous problems, oil leaks, shocks, etc.

For the short-term thinkers that say the Yamaha buyers should include suspension upgrades into the purchase price, remember that 790 owners/dealers should do the same for premature failure.

Die “suspension failure” waarvan jy praat is ‘ n seel wat lek op shock, definitief nie op alle bikes nie en meeste gevalle in eerste paar duisend km. zero koste vir eienaar. Word onder warranty gedek.

Ye, unfortunately seems to be the norm.....
Will do most of it myself when bike is out of warranty. Our local Yamaha dealer is fantastic   :peepwall:

162k om presies te wees! Saam met alles wat jy nodig het vanaf Givi so 170k...
Dan het jy al die riding modes, off road ABS, speed control, heated grips, main stand, TUBELESS RIMS, auto head light, etc...
...en tensy jy nou 'n Riding god is wat iets iewers in 'n shit plek bedoel vir perde wil gaan bewys, gaan nie die suspension of gewig jou pla nie... :deal:
O ja, en 5jaar waarborg + diens... :deal:
