2016:  Yay! Yamaha is releasing a light, powerful, well suspended adventure bike that will be cheaper than the KTMs!

Why, one would never agree with you once you have watched the Pol video. Suddenly Chris Birch looks like an old man on an ox. :ricky:

Lets sort this out once and for all, if you have the money to keep throwing at a bike then buy a KTM if not then buy the Yamaha. There all sorted.   :P

So I suppose that I was fortunate to have had  a good look at the T700 at my local Yammie dealer, I was also privy to the ramblings of other accomplished riders riding various brands and I have not seen or heard any negatives regarding this bike. Dont knock the Yammie until you have seen it up close and have had the chance to appreciate the build quality. I'm now waiting patiently to somehow get to ride this bike in its habitat

I actually like it, provided the pricing is sensible.  I really do. And Iíd dig to take one for a spin and see. The 790 felt a little too much for me so this might a milder middle ground.

But this thread is too much fun  :lol8:

Like that competition with 1st prize being a fruit basket, and the runner-up getting a brand-new Alfa Romeo......

I actually saw a T700 on the road today. In real life!!!

I nearly crashed my Jeep I was so amazed that one actually exists out there in the wild.

Being a Jeep, are you sure it wasn't faulty steering linkages?
