The thing that makes me the happiest about the T7 is that its availability would hopefully allow the 990's price to drop a bit and then hopefully I can afford one again...  :ricky:

990's are really great bikes.

I have had my 990 since 2007 and love it. I bought the T700 . Since getting it, I have not ridden the 990 until yesterday - it is in magnificent condition 12000km BUT  now it feels a little dated . Later today I going on a ride with y wife , it  will be interesting to hear her views. Still wonít sell the 990

at first I thought you are saying the T7 is a much better ride and 990 is standing now
then saw its been standing since 2007!

I think that the man means, that he has only ridden the T7 since taking ownership ,and then only took the 990 for a spin again yesterday  after not riding it for that period

I know what he meant
what I am saying is:

A bike that did less than 1000km per year, was not ridden, period.

Consider that the owner has hundreds of bikes, literally.

I also like the standard version, with small changes like a tail-tidy, etc.

Apparently this is according to another board a 'cheap upgrade and fix' that some riders feel is necessary  :o
