Racing forum? Pot calling the kettle........

If I went for a ride with you Dan I don't think you'd be the guy I was waiting for.
The dog that caught the car. What now?

I'm looking for a new bike and took this for a ride. Was going to test ride a 1090R but it was sold when I got to the dealer.

The T7 is a  nice enough bike,  quite tall, sounds nice, nice and easy in the corners.  It did however leave me underwhelmed.  A bit revvy and not as smooth as I thought it would be.  It was running at 5k revs doing 100km/h. Don't think I would enjoy it on a long ride. The seat was also rather hard. It looks nice though.
12k on the road price here in the Netherlands.

So I went to ride some KTMs yesterday.  I'm afraid the T7 won't be in the shortlist.

Perhaps you should be on a "racebike forum", instead of on a adventure bike one. :peepwall: :peepwall: :pot: :thumleft:
How did you come to that conclusion,  just because I don't like the T7. Come on Bluestroke Dan, you should know better

"Bluestroke Dan"........I really like that. But I was just thinking that while I enjoy fast riding, one must choose your playground. Do not overpay for suspension if you're not going to use it.

I think you are quoting the wrong guy.
He did not mention suspension anywhere

Weet nie of dit al bespreek is nie maar wat is goeie suspensie upgrade opsies vir die 700? :thumleft:

Ek sien Touratech het...
Justin at Shock Logic can assist with springs, as well as valving, if required.

Could be K-Tech IIRC.

Perhaps watch some of the very many videos on these highly praised machines before you make yourself guilty of spreading fake news.

Videos filmed in the US where they pay drastically less for a T7 -As they rightfully should.

But if you believe everything you see on the interwebs, I have a Nigerian inheritance I'd love to share with you  :3some:

What does the price have to do with the almost universal thumbs-up the T7 gets from testers? ::)

Your mistaken believe that the T7 is too expensive compared to the 790 is quite funny.

You pay for what you get, with the KTM it's better suspenders, with the Yamaha it's infinitely better reliability.

In fact, when the T7 came onto the market, the 790 was dropped like a hot coal. Rightly so.

Wat n bike. 7500 km sover in 15 dae(13 ry dae)

Briljant in die duine en sand. Bike het 558 km Simpson crossing in onder 12 ure (8.5 + 2.75 ure)gedoen. 35 liter petrol gebruik.

Ek sal later hele storie vertel.
