Has anyone read anything concrete on whether the GS version has tubeless wheels or not?
One would think it is based on the rims being cast / non spoked.
I would easily tolerate tubes if this bike could only have spoked rims....simply because those mags looks kak.
Something about the looks of those mags remind one of the Swastika.
I must agree the rims look kak probably are kak and look exactly the same as the little road racer Bajaj, any D/S worth its salt would have spoked rims. Are they cast or riveted together ?
Just a note for the bike testers it would be interesting to find out the cost of all the fancy fairing parts in the event of an off in a rocky area, read gouges/broken plastics, this goes for all from AT to GS it would be a nice informative paragraph in a review.
A low speed off off camber damage to plastics on a 1200LC would probably be the cost of a good 2nd hand dirt bike ( Honesty section - each fall should be a separate claim
)
Will try find out, but I usually leave that kak to my insurance

It will be tubeless cast wheels.
So same as F700 or Vstrom etc.
No one is saying this thing will need to do the Dakar. You are missing the point.
