At least you get a center stand! Why is there so little between the back wheel with it's anaemic tail tidy and the seat these days? Looks like an ideal way to get your trousers splattered on a rainy day ride.

Apart from that I really like that look.

Is there a huge price difference between the two?? Otherwise you getting a whole lot less HP in a bike that weighs 5kg less than the 1200.

1200 starts at R199k, the 950 starts at R176k.

R23k is nothing to sniff at but 11% is not enough of a difference in my books. 10% deposit, 48 months at prime it works out to R600pm difference...hmmm....

KTM's gaps are a little bigger but even there it's still hard to justify buying the smaller bike.

Looks like a capable road tourer in the European tradition, just don't show it any rough dirt roads, it might have a koek-lapse.
