UPDATE: Seat no longer for sale.
I have decided to keep the OEM and the Seat Concepts one I scored. Both are great in their own way and I am thinking one can use the OEM for some daily use and short outrides and the Seat Concept one more as a touring seat for longer trips … it may though happen that the SC one is just so comfy that it becomes the fav 8) We will see.
What I can say at this stage, and I have not done a long trip on it, is that the SC is immediately more plush on the butt. ;D Very simply it has a bigger butt 'footprint area' and also clearly a superior memory type seat foam. The upper is a non slip gripper material of excellent quality. The pics below show how much wider across the butt the SC is but must also say when fitted it does not look strange or out of place. :thumleft:
