I hope that one day I am fortunate enough to do that ride - please do send anything you find from him -  :thumleft:

I was suppose to join him  :(

EDIT: Think I will start a separate thread for Dave's progress "report". He's embarking on the 2000km Road of bones today. Not sure about signal en route.

Road of bones? what is that?

Like in THE Road of Bones?

The one in Russia?

That's the one!

A lone ride through Baps,Bronkos,Waterval. Was quite sandy in places near Waterval yesterday.I noted several KTM guys giving it gas together with a lady on a 790.You guys must wait for her, as well as a lone BMW Rally guy also on the power.

Forgive me Chris, iirc, the bike had 9,100 or 9,900 when I purchased.

It just rolled over 11,000.  The bike is museum quality and came with period correct panniers and Garmin gps from that era.

I enjoy firing the old girl up and torquing down the road.   :ricky:
