They used to have a boat with shredder milling the stuff into pulp, an effective way, ecological too, to get rid of this shit.... but yeah, that boat needs diesel and maintenance and some decent management, all diminishing properties since Zuma got to reign this beautiful country... $:-\$

On the river bordering us Flora&Dora have been spraying it, but to me it seems they have been spraying KAN!!

On Saturday I did my first dirt (highway) ride since destroying my knee almost a year ago. Sort of a make-up and kiss ride with the XRL.
I fitted a screen the day before and was keen to test it out - it makes a world of difference as I live in the heart of Johannesburg and need to travel almost an hour on tar before I get to see any dirt. Previously my ears would start to hurt on the extended highway pieces. No more.
Went up Breedtsnek and as I stood at the top admiring the view, a 790R came screaming up from the south side. Good to meet you, @JK , that bike sounds lekker

The north side of Breedtsnek is in a pretty poor state, doubt any car will be able to scale it in its current condition after all the rains.
It was a good head-cleaner and enjoyed the bike all over again.
Next up -> canals, Jericho and de Wildt.
