Hi, everybody!
We are two Russians traveling from Saint-Petersburg (Russia) to Cape Town (South Africa) by motorbikes (Suzuki DL650 V-Strom and KTM 990 Adventure). Since January, 2008 we crossed Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and Swaziland. Now we are in South Africa.
From here in two weeks or so we plan to go to West Africa and then to North. Did anyone travel to West Africa recently? Any tips, advices on route?
If somebody going this way soon you are more then welcome to join us.
