a BIKER is born....
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:27:50 pm »
OK, this is proud moment for me.

I bought my 4 and half year old lighty an OSET in February and he has been checking it out but finally actually got on it and started riding last weeked. On his first day he mastered standing. Observe the concentration, flawless technique, that far away stare typical of wild dogs and comfortable stance. Also observe how he is looking thru his line.... (OK, I know I am a little biased).

And before any wiseass chirps about ATGATT, the great thing about OSET's is they have a parental control. His bike is set for a maximum speed of about 5 km/h so the likelyhood of accident damamge is minimal.

So now I am off to get ATGATT and I think we'll be up for de Wildt this weekend, GS Challenge later in the year and maybe that Dakar thing (or whatever they are going to call it in South America) next year.

Be careful of the words you say.
And keep them soft and sweet.

J, you know that this not a flash in the pan thing. Check out the stance and concentration. Better lock your bike keys away pal. Way to go J Jnr. :pot:

Bedonnerd!

I can't wait for my 3 to get big enough to ride the QR by themselves. I bought it when my daughter turned 2. She's 4 now and twins are 2, so it's going to be a few years...
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

1200GSA. It's like the girl you marry, reliable, maybe a bit overweight but you know she will always look after you even though she may not be the most exciting ride.

HP2. Itís like the pole dancer you have thoughts of running away with, you know at some point it will end in tears but you just have to come back for more, at times it makes no sense but when you get down and dirty who cares about sense."
