This past Sunday Martina and I was on our way home on the bikes and a very drugged and drunk version of one of gods creatures walked down the middle of the road (R43 from Villiersdorp where it crosses albatross road at the traffic lights in Avian park entry road).
He heard me approach and hurled a broom he was carrying at me, using all the force he could.
I was passing on his right, so could lean forward and the broom only slightly scraped my back and passed behind me.
I got a big worry but luckily Martina could also pass while he ran to pick it up for another go at us.
Safe option. Shrug it off and ride away. We did that
It could have turned out differently.
